This young athlete maintains substantial social media audience
The young golfer can count on numerous high-profile supporters as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates multiple international courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she stated.
She mentioned that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa essentially advised me to go out there and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
But she can receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He stands as the best player globally," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's an even better person. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, following the flow."
Kai will face multiple top competitors in professional golf at the Annika, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to wider groups, specifically reaching younger fans.
The social media influencer has substantial online presence and recently launched an exclusive fashion and living brand.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
