As a result, the lineup now appears much smaller, though conditioner Bob Baffert has a major opportunity to secure a twentieth Breeders’ Cup victory. His runners include Richi along with Splendora, while Hope Road, victor in the Grade One Ballerina Stakes, is considered the primary threat.
